Our services are how we support councils. Demonstration of the success of these
services are that in just 10 short years Section51 has written successful applications
totaling over 600 million dollars, and has managed the reporting requirements for
hundreds of projects.

Writing
We write grant applications for local government across Australia.
We begin by understanding your problem. This could be past success rate, challenges with how funding providers work, your time, and resources, a political challenge, or simply a project that you are uncertain how to present in an application. We then convert your project to what the funding providers want. The fundamental purpose of a grant is to deliver either State or Australian outcomes. We know what those outcomes are, and how to transform your project into something they want to fund. We then write the story in your application that the funding provider wants to hear.
Evidence is everything and we prepare the wide range of documents required which provide the proof behind the words in the story and application. We do all the behind the scenes work of online forms and the technical aspects through to submitting the application. The entire process is undertaken in partnership with you and your team.
Teaching
We provide over 40 years of our intellectual property to teach you how the grants process really works, and how to transfer this knowledge into successful applications. As one of the designers and assessors of what is now Building Better Regions Fund working for the Australian Government, and Regional Communities Programs when working for the NSW Government, Colin has a unique insight into how funding providers think and how decisions are made. Integrated into the teaching is 12 years of success, and failure, with grant applications written by Section51.
Reporting
Section51 has extensive experience in writing award winning final reports. You may feel jaded when a project is nearing completion, and just do the tick and flick the Department requires, yet you have such a fantastic story to tell, so don’t hide it.
Using performance story techniques developed in reporting on success of the $3billion National Heritage Trust, Section51 tells your story, which is told through interviews and evidence on the outcomes that have been achieved for your community from the project.
Make yourself look great, tell the world what a great job you have done and the added benefit is that this final report will significantly enhance future funding applications with the proof that you know how to achieve great results.
